Capacitor discharge

The capacitor discharge is mathematically a very demanding process. The simulation shows that only the simple laws of nature are sufficient to describe this discharge without much mathematics.

How is the current I calculated from the voltage of the capacitor and the resistance of the circuit?

What charge DeltaQ flows from the capacitor at (constant) current I in time DeltaT?

From this you get the new charge of the capacitor and from this the new voltage.

Now increase the time by DeltaT.

Exercise:

Display the discharge process (Q over t) in a graph and a table.

Additionally enter Q calculated from t:

Qmath=Q0*exp(-t/(R*C))

Compare the two curves and the table values of calculated and simulated Q.
